Authorities are offering a cash reward in exchange for information on the murder of a Virginia teacher in Newark last year.
The Crimestoppers program will pay up to $5,000 for details that lead to an arrest in the shooting death of Dawn Reddick, 29, who was gunned down last July while visiting relatives. Reddick was fatally shot while leaving a restaurant located near the intersection of Maple and Chancellor Avenues in the Newark's South Ward.
Anyone with information about the murder is urged to call the Essex County Prosecutor's tips line at 877-847-7432 or the Newark police tips line at 877-695-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
