The patients at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center recently got a special visit from Olympic gymnast John Orozco.
Orozco, who received a standing ovation from hospital employees as he walked into the cafeteria, was in the city for the Kellogg's Tour of Champions Gymnastic event at the Prudential Center last weekend.
"Being able to visit Newark Beth Israel means a lot to me," said Orozco in a press release. "I can go to training and work hard every day and that is important, but I love the feeling of putting a smile on a child’s face and if I can brighten their day just a little bit then it is a great feeling."
