A Newark man was indicted Wednesday on first degree murder charges in the 2011 shooting death of an Orange resident, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office announced.
Raymond White, 26, was indicted by an Essex County Grand Jury for the murder of Hameek Thomas, 18, who was killed on Cleveland Street on Aug. 31, 2011. White was also indicted on two second degree weapons possession charges.
White is scheduled to be arraigned on June 19 before Judge Peter J. Vazquez.
