Bike Exchange: Volunteers Needed to Fix & Sell Bikes (No Experience Necessary)

239 Washington St, Newark, NJ | Get Directions »
FREE

ABOUT: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Newark's Bike Exchange is Newark's only nonprofit BIKE STORE in the area!

It is solely run by volunteers who enjoy customer service, bikes, and making an immediate difference in their community.

VOLUNTEER: We are always looking for volunteers who cherish making a difference while having fun.

Volunteers range from great people with little to no bike experience to huge bike enthusiasts who ride miles apon miles every day.

Basic shop duties include becoming a "bike salesman," sweeping, handing out flyers, safety testing bikes and answering the phone.

Those who enjoy a challenge are welcome to repair bikes, become a lead mechanic, be a responsible transport driver for our UHAUL, become a shop manager and so much more!
