DESCRIPTION:The Junior League of Montclair-Newark\, Inc. ("JLMN") will ho
 ld a prospective member  open house on Thursday\, May 17th at 7:30pm.&nb
 sp\; This  casual\, informational session will provide potential   new m
 embers with an opportunity to ask questions and  learn about the   volun
 teering\, educational\, and social opportunities the JLMN  provides   to
  its members.&nbsp\;\nThe JLMN is an organization of women committed to 
 promoting   voluntarism\, developing  the potential of women\, and impro
 ving the   community through the effective  action and leadership of tra
 ined   volunteers.&nbsp\; JLMN members direct their volunteer efforts to
  children at   risk in our communities.&nbsp\; Through the hands-on volu
 nteer activities the   JLMN provides its members\, as well as its  colla
 borative efforts with   other volunteer organizations and its tradition 
 of  community advocacy\,   the JLMN has created a supportive environment
  for training  tomorrow's   community leaders and enabling its members t
 o forge lasting  friendships.\nThe Junior League reaches out to women of
  all races\, religions and   national origins  who have reached the age 
 of 21 and who demonstrate an   interest in and a  commitment to voluntee
