Free Clinical Breast Exam Screening
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Rutgers School of Nursing (SN) and the College of Nursing (CON) have teamed up to conduct free clinical breast exams at four Newark locations from October 21 to 24. Advanced Practice nurses and volunteers from SN’s Mobile Health Care Project and the CON’s FOCUS Health Center will provide the screenings on a walk-in basis for women and men living at Newark Public Housing Authority’s Terrell Homes, Hyatt Court and Pennington Court, as well as the FOCUS site on Broad Street.
