A caravan of pick-up trucks and vans departed Veterans Courthouse Wednesday
morning for the final phase of the Essex County Sheriff's Annual Holiday
Toy Drive for local needy children.
Spearheaded by Sheriff Armando Fontoura and Essex County businessman
Joseph Farina, the sheriff's department delivered thousands of toys and
winter clothing to youngsters at area schools, houses of worship, social
service agencies and protective care facilities.
