Health, Fashion and Networking Highlight May Events at the Best Western Robert Treat Hotel

Throughout the month of May, the Best Western Robert Treat Hotel will host a variety of events, ranging from fundraising, to entertainment, to health, to networking. The Berger Organization's flagship property will welcome diverse audiences to downtown Newark throughout the month.

  • Fri., May 4 - There will be a multi-year reunion for Barringer High School of Newark. The event, titled "Barringer Black Tie Affair," will be 7-10 p.m. in the Crystal Ballroom. Tickets are $75. For more information about the event, visit Facebook.com/events/218579224881686/.
  • Sat., May 5 - The West Side unit of the Boys & Girls Club of Newark will be holding a fundraiser 7 p.m.-12 a.m. in the Tri-State Ballroom. To learn more about the Boys & Girls Club of Newark, visit http://www.bgcn.org/.
  • Fri., May 11 - StylishlyGrwn presents "Ladies Night Out" in the Tri-State Ballroom. The Mother's Day weekend event celebrates women and will be headlined by Dawn Richard. The event will showcase live performances by female singers, followed by a party featuring Hot 97 and KISS FM DJ Cocoa Channelle. Women must be 25 or older, and men must be 27 or older. Doors open at 9:30 p.m., and admission is $20 before 11:30 and $30 thereafter. The first 400 women will be admitted for free.
