SLAMMETRY is a spoken word show hosted by New Jersey poet, Starski, in Newark at Art Kitchen (61 Halsey Street).  The show is produced twice every month with an open mic segment, $50 slam poetry competition, and feature performance by some of the most critically and commercially acclaimed spoken word poets in the country, some of which are from, or currently reside right here in Newark.
