Motorcycle Ride, Street Party Planned for Sunday in the Ironbound
Event, sponsored by NEWPAC, will feature ride, food, entertainment and family activities.
Bikers from a number of clubs will be roaring through the Ironbound Sunday for a combination ride and party sponsored by the Newark East Ward Political Action Committee (NEWPAC).
Taking part in the NEWPAC Motorcycle Run and Party will be riders from the Newark chapter of the Blue Knights, the Indian Knights MC, the Iron Knights MC, Grupo Motards and Moto-Arcos.
Riders can register at El Pastor, 570 Market St., from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. The ride departs at noon and the party afterwards begins at 1:30 p.m.

The event is not just intended for riders. Along with the escorted, scenic ride, the party will feature family-friendly activities and attractions including music, a bounce castle, test rides, as well as a menu of food that will include roast pig and a meat-and-cheese sampling. There will also be a rolled-cigar table and other attractions, including vendor and motorcycle displays.
