Prudential Ranked Among World's Top 10 Venues

Sellout concerts have helped the Rock draw huge amounts of revenue, trade mag says

The Prudential Center has made another top 10 list, with the six-year-old Newark sports and concert venue raking in more cash than nearly any other similar facility in the world.

NJBiz reports that trade publication Venues Today ranked facilities based on gross revenue from concerts, sporting events and other attractions for the year ending Oct. 15. The Rock landed at No. 3 on the list in the nation and No. 9 globally.

Officials with the arena pointed to sellout concerts by musical acts including the Rolling Stones and Taylor Swift, among others. The arena has also hosted successful Ultimate Fighting Championship matches.
