"Wow, so we're hot!" said George Hariton, manager of Garden Cafe, when reached by phone Friday morning.

Hariton said Garden Cafe, which has a lottery machine and instant ticket vending machine, sells a "fair amount" of lottery tickets – and winning ones, at that. In March, the store sold a Mega Millions Megaplier ticket worth $1 million and sold its first Jersey Cash 5 winning ticket worth $213,105 last October.

"When there's a bigger pot, people have a fever to buy more instant tickets too," said Hariton. "That's been our history."

The two winning tickets were the only ones sold that matched all five numbers in Thursday's drawing: 01, 03, 08, 17 and 19.

"We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at the Garden Cafe and Jenessy Liquors, LLC," said Executive Director Carole Hedinger. "Overnight they have become two more 'lucky locations' for two very fortunately lottery winners."

Jenessy Liquors and Garden Cafe will each receive a $750 check for selling the winning tickets.

A total of 3,385 people won $61,226 in cash prizes in Thursday's drawing. Hedinger said 126 people who correctly picked four numbers won $279 each and the 3,259 people who matched three numbers won $8.
