On JULY 21, 2012 Pavilion Tenant Association President Mr. Sam August won a small victory against Alpha Property (management company for Pavilion Apartments) it was recognized that the PTA do have the right to hand out flyers and put them under the tenants apartments door. The question was do the PTA have the right to post the flyer in the lobby and on each floor of the two buildings? The PTA requested just one simple thing a "COMMUNITY BULLENTIN BOARD WITH A GLASS ENCASEMENT AND KEY" That is when Alpha Property attorney Mr. Bruce Gudin and Sean Pena (Alpha Property Manager) stated this request will have to be presented to the owners in California for approval and they requested an adjournment. The case went before Judge Fast and the adjournment was granted for JULY 10, 2012 at 9:00AM. Please be mindful that the Pavilion Tenant Association flyers were only to "notify the tenants of both buildings about our next meeting date and location." As of September 2011 Alpha Properties have denied the PTA access to host any tenant meetings on the property. Therefore, the PTA host their meetings at LaCasa on Broadway. At this time we are asking any tenants of Pavilion;Hallmark and the Colonnades or any other concerned city officials or persons who want to support our PTA President Mr. Sam August on this date please feel free to come and help us convince the Judge that this is an "INJUSTICE" not just to the Pavilion Tenants but to all tenants in the city of Newark, New Jersey!!!!!!
