Mother-Daughter Cats Need a Loving Home

Patch's Pet of the Week

Submitted by the Associated Humane Societies

This Feline Friday, Patch has two Pets of the Week! This mother and daughter pair are Blythe and Gwyneth, As sometime happens, the pair was adopted in early fall and returned to us in late November. This beautiful, bonded pair has weathered the storm, and AHS hopes that a new family will be interested in keeping them together.

With beautiful tortoiseshell markings, both Blythe (mother, age 3 years) and Gwyneth (daughter, age 6 months) are affectionate, gentle cats that would love a forever home of their own. If you or someone you know is ready to make their house a home for them, and is interested in Blythe and Gwyneth (IDs 121645 and 121646), please contact Associated Humane Societies’ (AHS) Newark shelter with her ID # 121823.  AHS is offering a holiday cat adoption fee incentive special--$25, which includes the adoption fee and spay or neuter, free inoculations, microchip, cat carrier, collar and an ID tag.

The shelter is located at 124 Evergreen Ave. The shelter’s phone number is 973-824-7080, and adoption hours are Monday-Friday, 12 to 5:30pm, Saturday and Sunday, 12 to 5 pm. Visit their website atwww.ahscares.org, or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/AssociatedHumaneSocieties.
