Actress Eva Longoria, who campaigned for Cory Booker this week before the U.S. Senate primary, said she thinks the Newark mayor will be a future president.
"I think he's going to be a future President of the United States," Longoria told "Extra" this week. "I just believe in him so much and his stance on everything."
The "Desperate Housewives" star, who made campaign stops for Booker on Monday in Plainfield and Newark, said she's impressed by the U.S. Senate hopeful's accessibility and commitment to public service.
"He’s dynamic, and he’s very personally involved in everything he does," she told "Extra."
"He puts his phone number on Twitter so people can call him directly if
there's a pipeline broken. The way he's accessible to his constituents
is really mind-blowing."
