Five Newark Children Hurt in Bus Accident Monday
Injuries not life-threatening, police said
Five children were hurt Monday after the school bus they were riding became involved in a traffic accident, Newark police said.
The accident occured around 3:40 pm at West Market Street and Central Avenue, Sgt. Ron Glover said. The accident involved another vehicle and a pedestrian, Glover said.
The children were taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Glover also said.
