A responding unit observed a vehicle fleeing from the shooting scene and led police on a chase through Newark, which ended when the vehicle struck a tree at Elizabeth and Lyons avenues, Glover said.  The vehicle’s occupants -- Jerome Anderson Jr, Kyle Teague, Rajee Stokes and Percell Coston, all 19 years old -- led officers on a brief foot pursuit before being arrested, Glover also said.

Officers reportedly recovered two 45.- caliber handguns, a .40-caliber aliber handgun and 9 mm handgun from the vehicle the suspects were driving.  The suspects are facing several charges, including eluding and weapons possession.
