Two men were shot Thursday night, one fatally, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and Newark police said Friday.
David Eze, 29, of Irvington was shot around 8 pm in the 500 block of S. 14th Street, later succumbing to his wounds. A 30-year-old West Orange man, whose name was not released, was also shot but survived.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
