The murder of a 37-year-old city man shot and killed last night is under investigation, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and Newark police announced Wednesday.
Talif Crowley was shot several times around 7:30 pm on the 100 block of Goodwin Avenue. He was pronounced dead about an hour later.
The investigation is active and ongoing. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office tips line at 1-877-847-7432.
