I was the first EMT on this scene and it was horrific. But by no means were the Newark PD lazy. In fact, an officer subbed in for me doing CPR after he noticed I was getting tired. If there's anyone to blame, it's our society for not caring when things like this happen in broad daylight.

Police must be seen on the streets, if they don't become visible then crime takes over. Yes, more hard working police officer are in need. As in any workforce you will find the lazy and the incompetents. Step up to the challenge P O in Newark. I want to see your presence visible. Don't give up
