Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting as a 29-year-old Newark man.
Newark Police and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said Anthony Riley was shot at around 2 p.m. on the 400 block of S. 16th Street on Monday.
He was pronounced dead at 3 p.m., officials said.

The second victim survived the shooting and remains hospitalized. His identity is not being released.
