Men Were Targeted in Double Homicide, Prosecutor Says
Tremayne Roberts and another unidentified man slain Saturday night.
Two men, believed to have been targeted, were shot and killed on South 17th Street Saturday night, acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray said Sunday.
No suspects have been identified, Murray said.
Tremayne Roberts, 26, and an unidentified man were pronounced dead at the scene on the 700 block of South 17th Street after being discovered by Newark police at 11:31 p.m., Murray said.

Officials were unable to say if the shooting was gang related or drugs were involved.
The investigation is continuing.
