One Dead, One Wounded in Newark Shooting
Incident occurred Tuesday afternoon in the area of Plymouth and Isabella avenues.
One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting Tuesday in the area of Plymouth and Isabella avenues, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said.
The shooting occurred at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. One man was pronounced dead at University Hospital and the second victim is being treated for his injuries, according to the prosecutor's office.
The names of the victims were not immediately released.
The investigation remains ongoing and no further information was immediately available.
