Booker Opens New Job Center

Facility on Broad Street will match up employers, prospective workers

Mayor Cory Booker Monday hosted a ribbon-cutting at Newark Jobs Connect, a workforce development center that links city residents with employers and offers training, counseling and other services.


The center is located at 1008 Broad St. and will be operated by Grant Associates on behalf of the Newark Workforce Investment Board.
