Membership Open House: Discover the Power of Volunteering!

The Junior League of Montclair-Newark, Inc. ("JLMN") will hold a prospective member open house on Thursday, May 17th at 7:30pm.  This casual, informational session will provide potential new members with an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the volunteering, educational, and social opportunities the JLMN provides to its members.

The JLMN is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  JLMN members direct their volunteer efforts to children at risk in our communities.  Through the hands-on volunteer activities the JLMN provides its members, as well as its collaborative efforts with other volunteer organizations and its tradition of community advocacy, the JLMN has created a supportive environment for training tomorrow's community leaders and enabling its members to forge lasting friendships.

The Junior League reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who have reached the age of 21 and who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to volunteerism.  For details about the open house and to learn more about the Junior League of Montclair-Newark, Inc. visit our website at www.jlmn.org, email us at mail@jlmn.org , or call us at 973-746-2499.
