Summit for Minority Business Owners at PSEG

What's going on this weekend on Newark Patch

Several organizations, including the National Black MBA Association and the regional chapter of the Spelman College Alumni Association, will be hosting Fired Up!,a business empowerment summit open to owners of new and existing businesses as well as future entrepreneurs and teens. The day will be filled with workshops from industry insiders on key things to know when starting your business, how to market your existing business to increase sales, learning how to register as a minority-owned business for government contracts, how to gain access to capital and new sources of business funding and also include a prize-filled pitch competition.


The summit will be held at PSEG headquarters, 80 Park Place and begins at 8:30 am

Also this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, there will be a flea market at 120 N. 11th St. The flea market will be open from 10 am to 5 pm. For more information call 347-761-7915.
