Expect Sunday Road Closures as County Gears Up for Komen Race
South Orange Ave, Cherry Lane, Brookside Drive will be closed
Sunday's Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is expected to draw more than 5,000 participants and supporters to the 5k run/walk at the Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange. In preparation for the event, here is a list of road closures and information regarding transportation to the event. What Roads will be closed, and when? Starting at 4:30am on Sunday – Cherry Lane will be closed from Northfield to South Orange Avenue. And, Brookside Drive will be closed from Glen Avenue in Short Hills to South Orange Avenue. From 7:30am on Sunday until approximately 10:30am – SOUTH ORANGE AVENUE will be closed from Gregory Avenue in West Orange to Old Short Hills Road.
