Free Screenings of E.T. Movie at Newark Museum
Creator of the communicator E.T. used to call home will be at Nov. 25 screening
The Newark Museum will host a screening of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, including a special guest from the movie for its 30th anniversary.
Henry Robert Feinberg, who created the communicator that E.T. used to call home, will be at the Nov. 25 screening of the hit movie. The 2 p.m. event is free and open to all.
After the movie was released, Feinberg donated an exact replica of the communicator to the museum, which will be on display through Nov. 25.

The museum will show the 30th anniversary Blu-ray DVD edition of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. through Thanksgiving weekend. The film will be screened on Thanksgiving weekend on Friday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 25.
After each screening, there will be a drawing for a copy of the DVD, courtesy of NBC Universal and the Newark Museum.

Feinberg has designed exhibits for Walt Disney's Epcot Center, Universal Studios theme parks in Florida and Los Angeles and AT&T's InfoQuest Center in New York City. He has received 18 international film awards for his documentaries as a writer-director, including two CINE Golden Eagle awards.
