Newark Bears Team Up with Local Schools for “Stadium of Screams”

Local volunteers help the Newark Bears put on their Halloween-themed Stadium of Screams.

With the help of several local high schools and colleges, the Newark Bears will host a frightening haunted attraction—the second annual Stadium of Screams—which is scheduled to open on October 18.

Volunteers from Hackensack High School, Technology High School in Newark and Newark Innovation Academy will lend their time and assist with the team’s Halloween-themed event.

Stadium of Screams will also be supported by the team’s internship program. Students from Berkeley College, Bloomfield College, Christ the King Prep High School, New Jersey City University, Nyack College, Rutgers University - Newark and Seton Hall University, who work with the organization, will also participate.
